Five Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

Five members of the Falcon women's track & field team have been named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honorees.

Natasha Arnold (Jr., Stevens Point, Wis.), Jenny Aronson (Sr., Stillwater, Minn.), Colleen Kopel (Sr., Stillwater, Minn.), Leah Korf (Sr., Oakdale, Minn.) and Kali Meurer (Sr., Waseca, Minn.) were all named to the team.

Arnold earned NCAA All-American honors in four events in 2010 - the indoor and outdoor 400 event and the indoor and outdoor 4x400 relay events.

Meurer earned NCAA All-American honors in the indoor and outdoor 4x400 relay events.

Aronson was a NCAA indoor All-American in the long jump.

Kopel hit the NCAA Meet provisional qualifying mark in the outdoor heptathlon.

Korf hit the NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the outdoor 800.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either the NCAA Div. III indoor or outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard.
