The Falcons opened up the regular season with an impressive 3-0 win over St. Mary's Wednesday afternoon at Ramer Field.

Baron and Stang led the Falcons with two shots each. Thompson recorded the shutout – her sixth of her collegiate career. SMU's Cassie Hulett made two saves.

Both teams finished with eight shots in the game. The Falcons out shot SMU, 4-3, in the second half. UWRF had 11 fouls and the Cards were called for 10.
