The Falcon women's basketball team will be joining together for a special cause next week as they will be packing meals at the Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) organization in Eagan, Minn.

Playing defense, running an offense and pressuring the opponent into turnovers will take a back seat for the Falcons on Friday, Jan. 13. While there, the team will be split up into different stations where different parts of the food packing process will take place. They will try to pack food as fast as they can, without spilling, to maximize the amount of food that they pack.

FMSC is an organization committed to feeding children. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

Last month the Falcon softball team packed enough meals to feed 32 people for an entire year.
