AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released its 2021-22 Women's At-Large Academic All-America® Teams on Wednesday, June 15, with UW-River Falls' Callie Hoff selected to the Division III Second Team.

The Academic All-America Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.

Hoff is one of seven women's ice hockey players and one of three from a WIAC member school on this year's Women's At-Large Academic All-America Teams.

The 2022 American Hockey Coaches Assocation (AHCA) Laura Hurd Player of the Year, Hoff graduated from UW-River Falls this spring with a 3.76 cumulative GPA as an Elementary Education major. She finished her five-year career as the Falcon women's hockey all-time leading scorer, with 197 career points off 97 goals and 100 assists in 122 games played. A two-time All-American, five-time All-WIAC honoree, and back-to-back WIAC Player of the Year, Hoff is a four-time WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll member and three-time AHCA All-American Scholar.

The 2021-22 Falcon Awards Female Athlete of the Year, Hoff becomes the first Falcon women's hockey player to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American. During her final season as a Falcon this year, Hoff was the Division III women's hockey leading scorer with 67 points off 26 goals and 41 assists, a UWRF single-season record.
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
