UW-River Falls sophomore runner Maria Laudenbach finished first during the Falcon Invite in River Falls, Wis., on Saturday with a six-kilometer time of 22:44.11. Her time was at a mile pace of 6:05.7 while finishing nearly 38 seconds ahead of the runner-up, taking first among 38 competitors from Wisconsin-Stout, North Central University, Northwestern-St. Paul, and Oak Hills Country College. She also placed first at the Crown College Invite 5k last week. She also was named the WIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
