Sports Archives (Pre-2011)

The UWRF Athletics Communications staff provides public and media relation services for the NCAA Athletics Departments' 19 sports programs. The department is responsible for all external content related to UWRF's NCAA athletic programs, and serves as a liaison between UWRF's athletics administration, coaches, and student-athletes and members of the media.

Credentials:
Requests for credentials to cover UWRF home athletics events must be submitted to the Athletics Communications staff (trent.jackson@uwrf.edu) no less than 24 hours prior to the event. All members approved for credential agree to adhere to the rules and regulations outlined by UWRF Athletics Media Credential Policy.

Photographers:
Photographers and videographers wishing to shoot UWRF sporting events must request credentials from the UWRF Athletics Communications Office. Photographers must obey NCAA rules pertaining to the designated areas to shoot from.

Statistics:
UWRF uses the Statcrew Statistical program for softball and lacrosse.  The department utilizes Genius Sports for football, ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. The Athletics Communications office will provide a box score to all working media as soon as possible after sporting events, and a play-by-play will also be available upon requests.

Internet Broadcasts:
All UWRF football, basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, softball, and track & field home events can be seen on the WIAC Network.

Visiting Radio:
Requests for radio broadcasts must be made through the UWRF Athletics Communications Office. Internet connections are available at Hunt Arena, Page Arena, and Ramer Field.

Internet Access:
Visitors are welcome to use the UWRF-Welcome wireless network. This is an open network and your data will not be encrypted.

Interview Policy:
All interview requests for student-athletes and coaches must go through the UWRF Athletics Communications Office. Postgame interviews will be setup by the Athletics Communications Office after the student-athletes and coaches have a short cool-down period.
