UW-River Falls senior forward and captain Callie Hoff helped guide the Falcons to a non-conference road sweep at Lake Forest College during the season-opening weekend, totaling three points with two goals and an assist. On Sunday, Hoff tallied a shorthanded assist, scored on the power play, and scored the game-winner shorthanded. UWRF outscored Lake Forest 9-1 through two games.
