UWRF men’s hockey split a pair of games on the weekend to open the new year Jan. 3-4, falling in overtime on Friday before a 4-3 road win at UW-Stout on Saturday, which featured a pair of goals by freshman forward Alex Atwill, including the game-winner. Atwill also had an assist on Friday versus the Auggies to finish with three points through two games, adding three blocked shots against the Blue Devils as well.
