UWRF pole vaulter Cole Darling set a resounding new career best in pole vault this weekend at the UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Open in Menomonie, Wis., on Saturday, Feb. 1, clearing 4.64 meters (14-07.5). The mark is a new personal best by over a foot, and landed Darling at number four on the UWRF all-time program indoor list for pole vault. Darling ranks 13th in the WIAC and 16th in the NCAA North Region in pole vault.
