Jacob Balcome dominated across the board at the UWRF Winter Classic on Saturday, Feb. 8 inside Knowles Fieldhouse, winning four events. His long jump of 7.13 meters (23-04.75) placed first at the meet, and set a new all-time program record for long jump. Balcome also won the men’s pole vault, leaping a new career-best mark of 4.63 meters (15-02.25) — the mark ranks 35th in Division III and ninth in the North Region, while moving up to No. 4 on the UWRF all-time records.
