Faye Perkins Softball Stadium
The Faye Perkins Softball Field underwent extensive renovation in 2016, when a new playing surface, bullpens, dugouts, scoreboard, sound system, bleachers for 300, outfield irrigation system, backstop, outfield fencing, electrical work and two batting cages were added.
The facility is named after Dr. Faye Perkins. Perkins was a long time head coach the Falcons. She led the team for 22 seasons, leading the team to six WIAC West Division championships, two conference titles, and three NCAA Tournament appearances while compiling a career record of 479-402-2., the WIAC, and the state of Wisconsin. Â
In addition to her 22 years coaching, Perkins also served as chair of the Department of Health and Human Performance, interim dean of the College of Education and interim provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs over a career that spanned 30 years at the university.
While home to the UWRF Women's Softball team, the field has also hosts a number of community youth events.
