Football Locker Room
The Falcon Football locker room as featured on the first season of NFL's Hard Knocks series with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007 has been updated with the construction of the new Falcon Center in 2018. The now permanent home of the Falcon Football team is made up of 110 wooden lockers designed by the Kansas City Chiefs to give each player ample room for all of their equipment needs. The football locker room now boasts the addition of four 72 inch HD flat screen TVs and two 60 inch HD flat screen TVs that have the ability to swivel out from the wall to break the locker room into six different meeting areas for players to watch film. The lounge side of the football locker room has a leather couch and two chairs as well as a ping pong table. The study side of the football locker room is equipped with two round tables and a classroom podium for the Falcon football players to work on their academics. The Falcon Football locker room is now the permanent home of "The Falcon" a seven foot tall wooden falcon that was carved in 1987. The football locker room also hosts a historical helmet project that shows the different types of helmets and logos used by the UW-River Falls football program going all the way back to the 1950s. Connected to the locker room is the football mudroom. The mudroom is a look into the football program's past as a reminder to the current players that they are apart of something bigger than their current team. The mudroom hosts all 18 of the programs championship banners as well as different logos from past years and the alumni sign.  Â
