Hunt Arena
Hunt Arena at the Falcon Center is home to the UW-River Falls men's and women's hockey programs. The newly remodeled Hunt Arena opened in Fall of 2017.
The new top loading venue has a maximum seating capacity of 1,400 with standing areas along the upper level. As part of the Falcon Center remodeling process, Hunt Arena boasts 300 upgraded 300 seats instead of benches on the west end of the arena and a 17 feet by 10 feet video board on the east end of the arena. Hunt Arena also features a hanging scoreboard in the middle of the arena. Also included in the remodel were new dasher boards, two remodeled locker rooms and two new locker rooms.Â
Constructed in 1973, the arena is named for Walter H. Hunt, a former Wisconsin State Senator (1924-1937) and member of the teaching faculty at River Falls Normal beginning in 1916.
