Alex Swatloski scored a hat trick and added an assist as the UW-River Falls Falcons won 4-0 over UW-Superior on Wednesday night at Ramer Field.
UWRF rolled all night beating Superior not allowing a single shot while putting eight on goal and taking 26 total.
Nina Abrahamson scored on a crossing pass from Swatloski, with
Missy Barnett also picking up an assist, just 8:50 into the game. The goal was Abrahamson's fourth of the season.
Just over a minute later Swatloski broke away from the defense and beat the goalie off an assist
Abby Soderholm.
Swatloski added another goal at 30:27 off a cross from
Kayla Windingstad.
Kenzie Weismann also picked up an assist on the goal.
Swatloski capped off her great night for the hat trick goal off an assist from
Kasey King at 53:52 to give her 13 goals on the season.
UWRF was ranked No. 10 in the Oct. 28 NSCAA Region poll. They sit in third place in the WIAC and will cap off regular season play at home against UW-Eau Claire with game time set for 7 p.m.
