Box Score St. Paul, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The Falcons split in a couple of games in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon, breaking their five match losing streak. The Falcons took care of Crown College 3-0 and fell to St. Catherine 1-3. The Falcons got 54 assists from

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
- The Falcons took all three sets of the match beating the Pipers (25-15, 25-6, and 25-22).
- The Falcons dominated with 42 kills compared to Crown's 22 kills.
- Poitra led UWRF in kills with a match high 12 with just one error. Poitra had a percentage of .423 in the match and also had a service ace.
- As a team, UWRF had eight service aces with Amara Meyer having two to lead the Falcons.
- Amara Meyer and Kyra Harvey each had six kills for UWRF. Mallory Griffin also had six kills with a .600 attack percentage.
- Senior setter Raven Klein had a match high 22 assists with Jadyn Cookman getting some action having 16 assists.
- Leading the back line, Hannah Robb had 14 digs to lead the match. Poitra had eight digs as well.
- As a team, UWRF had an alarming .347 attack percentage to help cruise to the victory.

- Kelsey Roschen led Crown in assists with 17 and also registered five digs.
- Taylor Urcuyo had the most digs for Crown with 10.
- Alayna Kohler, Katie Hinkle, and Kassandra Steinkamp each had four kills for Crown College.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 2
- The Falcons took the first set of the match 25-19 over the Wildcats. St. Catherine took the final three sets by scores of 26-24, 25-15, and 28-26.
- Both teams had over 50 kills. UWRF finished with 50 kills out of their 59 points.
- Poitra led UWRF for the second straight game, once again with 12 kills. Mallory Griffin and Hannah Striggow also were in double digits in kills with 11 each.
- As a team, UWRF had six blocks with Addie Eamon leading the Falcons with five. Her season high.
- Klein had a match high 32 assists Cookman also registered 11 for UWRF.
- Robb had a huge afternoon in the back row. She dug a season high 43 balls, the 43 was also a match high.
- The Falcons had higher attack percentage, and had fewer errors than the Wildcats.
THE OPPOSITION – GAME 2
- Hannah Flatness was the leader in kills for St. Catherine with 14. Abby Palmer also had 13 kills and Libby Kreuser rounded out the Wildcats in double digit kills.
- Johna Radke had 22 assists in the match with Larissa Kisch coming in and registering 21 assists.
- Both back rows got a lot of work in the match with Shanee Herd digging 34 balls for the Wildcats backline.
