WHAT HAPPENED
- The Pipers came out firing scoring three goals in the first half of the game and taking a 3-0 lead that the Falcons just could not overtake in the second half.Â
- The three goals were scored at 16:25, 23:15 and then again at 36:45 when Mallory Wirth tipped in a goal off the corner kick.
- In the first four minutes of the second half, Piper player Kaley Roberts had a breakaway run to score the Pipers fourth goal of the game.
- Kaley Roberts would again score at 63:34 to increase the Piper lead to 5-0.
- The Falcons continued battling and got a goal on the board with 17 seconds remaining in the match when Keri McKenzie got a pass from Carrie Anderson. It was McKenzie's first goal of the season.
- The Falcons had a total 11 shots on the day with Abby Soderholm leading the way with four of those shots.
- Keeper Erica Cimochowski had 11 saves in 90:00 minutes of play.
