RIPON, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team bounced back in day two of the Ripon College Invite to capture two wins over North Central College and Alverno College. The Falcons did not drop a set in the two matches going undefeated in six sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST NORTH CENTRAL
- The Falcons took all three sets of the first match beating the Cardinals (25-18, 25-16, 28-26).
- Offensively the Falcons came alive hitting .151 with 31 kills in 93 attempts.
- Amara Meyer led the Falcons with 11 kills and hit .350 in 20 attempts. She recorded four blocks.
- Senior setter Raven Klein had a match high 22 assists and hit .429.
- Defensively Hannah Robb had 13 digs.
- As a team the Falcons finished the morning with six service aces.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Cardinals were led by Cara Howell who recorded 8 kills and Julie Laugel who had seven kills.
- Olivia Hanley had a match high 14 digs and hit .750.
- Offensively the Cardinals outhit the Falcons with an attack percentage of .179.
- The Cardinal's serving was hot and cold having seven service aces but having 11 serving errors.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcon's came out even stronger in match two dominating Alverno in three sets (25-10, 25-16, 25-14)
- The Falcon's had a tournament high hitting percentage of .241 in the final game of the weekend.
- Offensively the Falcons were again led by Amara Meyer who had eight kills and Dakotah Poitra who had seven and hit .500.
- The Falcons recorded 10 service aces.
- Defensively Hannah Robb and Dakotah Poitra had 10 and nine digs respectively,
- Raven Klein recorded 24 sets.
- Klein was one of four named to the All-Tournament Team.
THE OPPOSITION
- Alverno only hit -.145 in the match.
- Melissa Weyand collected seven of the 11 total team kills.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Falcons come home to Karges Center to take on the Pipers of Hamline University Wednesday at 7 p.m.
