River Falls, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's came up short in a home contest against UW-La Crosse after giving up 27 offensive rebounds in a 57-44 loss.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Taylor Paulsrud had nine first half points and the Falcons trailed by just four at the break, but the Eagles used a 22-6 run in the second half and defeated the Falcons at home.
- UWRF scored the first five points of the game, but the Eagles used an 11-3 run to take the lead in the first. The Falcons would end the quarter knotted up with the Eagles 13-13.
- Paulsrud hit another three at the start of the second, but the Eagles would quickly take the lead back with an 11-0 run and lead 24-16, the Falcons would close in at halftime with the score 28-24 at the buzzer.
- In the second half, UWRF would quickly take the lead early on with back-to-back buckets by Ali Clark, but UW-La Crosse scored the final six points of the quarter to take a two point lead into the fourth quarter.
- The UW-La Crosse would lead by as much as 14 points in the fourth quarter, and the Falcons would score just seven points in the period in route to the loss.

- Paulsrud finished with 13 points, seven rebounds two blocks, and two steals in 37 minutes.
