RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team faced off against UW-Stevens Point in the annual Play for a Cause match. The Pointers were too much for the Falcons offensively and they fell in three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-STEVENS POINT
- The Falcons outhit the Pointers in set one .314 to .263 but could not pull out the win falling 18-25.
- The Pointers took sets two and three winning 25-20 and 25-11.
- Overall, the Falcons hit .106 (23-14-85) and were led by Karli Nielsen, who had six kills and hit .308, and Amara Meyer who had five kills.
- Hannah Robb had 12 digs and Dakotah Pointra and Hannah Striggow each had eight.
- In the front line of defense, Samantha Garvin had four blocks and Amara Meyer and Karli Nielsen each had three.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Pointers hit .281 as a team.
- Kelly Magliano led the Pointers with 13 kills and hit an impressive .647.
- Kendra Kundinger had a match high 14 digs.
