Soccer Falls to UW-Stout

River Falls, Wis.  (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team lost their first conference game to UW-Stout 1-0 in a physical contest at Ramer Field.  19 fouls were called in the game, 9 on UW-Stout, 10 on UW-River Falls.  The Falcons had plenty of chances to score, but couldn't find a way to get the ball in the net.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGINST UW-STOUT
  • The UW-River Falls women's soccer team managed to get 16 shots, but only 5 of them were on goal.
  • Abby Soderholm collected 6 shots by herself.  She came very close to scoring multiple times, but missed just barely of scoring.
  • Erika Lagoon had 3 shots, with 2 making it on goal.
  • Haley Crosby made 5 saves for River Falls.
 
THE OPPOSITION
  • In the 53rd minute, Sydney Kasper took a long pass from Jessica Ingle, and caught the far corner of the net for the first, and only, goal of the game.  It was Sydney's 5th goal of the season.
