RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) - The UW-River Falls Soccer team jumped out to an early lead on St. Scholastica. The Saints though chipped away at the lead, and in the end pulled out a 3-2 victory over the Falcons.

WHAT HAPPENED:
- The Falcon offense got off to a quick start with Kayla Windingstad putting home a pass from Abby Soderholm for a 1-0 Falcons lead.
- Jasmine Hunn made it 2-0 six minutes before halftime.
- UW-River Falls carried the play for most of the first half, outshooting the Saints 16-7, with Saints goaltender Roni Rudolph having to make 8 saves.
THE OPPOSITION:
- Hannah Zeis scored two goals for the Saints. Her first goal came from a tough angle which put the Saints on the board late in the first half.
- Becca Rancour scored what proved to be the game winner during the 72nd minute.
- Roni Rudolph finished with 13 saves.
LOOKING AHEAD:
- The Falcons open up WIAC play this Saturday when UW-Oshkosh visits Ramer Field. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
