RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team battled at home in a conference match against UW-La Crosse and came out on top, taking the match 3-2 (15-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 15-9).

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-LA CROSSE
- The Falcons went five games against the Eagles, ultimately winning the match 3-2 (15-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 15-9).
- Offensively the Falcons hit .182 with 60 kills in 198 attempts.
- Mallory Griffin led the Falcons with 16 kills and hit .273 in 44 attempts. She recorded one block, two aces, and 10 digs.
- Dakotah Poitra and Katie Koerper added 13 kills each.
- Haley Cuba had 37 assists and also recorded 10 digs.
- Hannah Robb led the Falcons defensively with 29 digs. Poitra recorded 15 digs.
- As a team the Falcons finished the match with 83 digs and 16 blocks.

- As a team the Eagles hit .207.
- They were led by Emma Lawrence who recorded 22 kills and Caitlin Griffin who had 11 kills.
- Libero Sophie Quelle led the Eagles defensively with 32 digs.
