RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The Falcon women's soccer team opened up postseason play with a win 2-1 win over UW-Eau Claire.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-EAU CLAIRE
- The Falcons took the lead half way through the first half. Lindsey Jack scored on a pass from Cassidy Day.
- Eau Claire started the second half with a goal at 49:35. The Blugolds tied the game up 1-1.
- Maggie Koehler gave the Falcons back the lead a minute later when she scored her fifth goal of the season. Assisting her on the play was Camryn Altnau.
- Goakeeper Haley Crosby had eight saves in the win.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Falcons move on to the WIAC Championship semifinals and will face off against UW-Whitewater at Whitewater Thursday Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.
