RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – In a rematch of Wednesday night's top ten showdown, the UW-River Falls women's hockey team travel to Gustavus Adolphus to take on the Gusties. The No. 4 Gusties defeated the No. 7 Falcons 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS
- After a scoreless first period the Gusties struck first with a goat at 4:18 in the second period.
- The Gusties scored two more goal in the third period to take a 3-0.
- The Falcons got a lone goal in the third period at 6:3y. Maddie McCollins scored on a pass from Alyson Niebur.
- The Falcons had 29 shots on goal and were led by Abigail Stow and Callie Hoff who each had six shots on goal.
- Sami Miller had 29 saves in goal.

The Falcons are off for the remainder of the year. They will return to action January 3 when they travel to Concordia College.
