STEVENS POINT, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's hockey team scored five goals in the WIAC conference win over UW-Stevens Point Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-STEVENS POINT
- Alyson Niebur and Erica Schramel each had a pair of goals in the Falcons 5-1 win.
- Niebur scored first with a power play goal at 4:35 in the first period. It ended up being the only goal of the period.
- The Falcons scored three goals in the second period to give them a 4-0 lead. The first goal was by an unassisted goal by Hailey Herdine at 1:37.
- Schramel's two goals came back to back with minutes of each other in the second. Her fist was a power play opportunity. She was assisted on the play by Bella Wagner.
- Schramel's second goal came at 12:25 on a pass from Maddie McCollins and Erin Olson.
- Alyson Niebur scored the lone Falcon goal in the third period giving the Falcons a 5-0 lead.
- The Pointers got on the board at 10:11 in the third period scoring their only goal of the game.
- The Falcons outshot the Pointers 37-16.
- Getting the win in goal was Sami Miller with 15 saves.
