ELMHURST, Illinois – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team competed Saturday in the Elmhurst Invitational and picked up two nonconference wins against Augustana University and Elmhurst University.
Augustana 2, UWRF 3
The Falcons fell behind 0-2 in the first match but came back with three set wins to take the match in five.
Leading offensive player was Kameri Meredith with 15 kills. She also added 12 digs to her performance. Sarah Langlois had 11 kills and Sami Hilley had 10. Brooke Voigt had 31 digs.
Elmhurst 1, UWRF 3
Match two started out similar to match one with the Blue Jays taking set one 22-25. The Falcons then bounced back and took sets two 25-14, three 25-20 and four 25-23.
Offensively the Falcons dominated hitting .260 and recording 54 kills. Kameri Meredith led the way with 19 kills and added 15 digs. Sarah Langlois had 14 kills and Karli Stineman had 9.
Defensively the Falcons had 10 blocks with Sami Hilley collecting six. Brooke Voigt had 29 digs.
