RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team finished the 2021 season with a tough 1-3 loss to UW-Oshkosh Friday night.
 
In the first set, the Falcons took a 23-18 lead but the Titans rebounded with a five-point run to tie it up 23-23.  The two teams exchanged leads, but it was the Titans who took the set 27-25.
 
The Titans took the second set 25-19.
 
The Falcons came back in the third set leading start to finish.  They won the set 25-20 after collecting 15 kills and hitting .220.
 
The Falcons held the Titans to just a .098 hitting percentage in the second set while hitting .106.  They also outhit the Titans in the third with a .220 to .179.
 
Katie Koerper led the Falcons offensively with 16 kills.  Sami Hilley added 13 kills to the night and Kameri Meredith chipped in 12.  On the defensive side, Brooke Voigt had 26 digs.  Meredith completed the double double night with 14 digs and Lauren Shields added 10. 
 
The Falcons finish the season 15-14 overall and tied for 7^th in the WIAC standings.
