UWRF women's soccer has a pair of conference matches this week, hosting the College of St. Scholastica and traveling to Macalester College.
During Wednesday's contest against St. Scholastica, the Falcons and Saints will compete for the two programs' traveling trophy, the "Border Battle Chalice." The game will mark the 19th all-time meeting between UW-River Falls and St. Scholastica, with the series tied at 7-7-4. The last two seasons have ended in 1-1 draws between the Falcons and Saints, in which UWRF won a shootout last year in Duluth, Minn., to earn the Chalice.
