MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 18-24, 2023, with Lexi Peterson representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Peterson, a senior forward from Mankato, Minn., led the Falcons in scoring on the week with four points off a goal and two assists, leading UW-River Falls to wins over College of St. Scholastica and regionally-ranked Macalester College. Against St. Scholastica on Sept. 20, she had three points to record her third multi-point game of the season. She currently leads the WIAC in scoring with 14 points.

The Falcons (4-2-2 overall) head into WIAC play this week, hosting UW-Platteville on Saturday, Sept. 30 during UWRF Homecoming.
