MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The UW-River Falls Track & Field program is set to warp up its indoor regular season this Saturday, competing at the Snowshoe Open hosted by the University of Minnesota on Friday, February 21 at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse in Minneapolis.
The meet is the final of the season, before the Falcons head to Stevens Point next weekend for the WIAC Indoor Championships.

FALCON NOTES
- In this week's USTFCCCA rankings, UW-River Falls women's track is ranked ninth in the country in pentathlon, 10th in high jump, 12th in shot put, 14th in 60-meter hurdles, 19th in triple jump, 22nd in weight throw, and 30th in the 5,000 meters
- On the men's side, UWRF high jumpers rank third in the nation. The Falcons also rank 17th in pole vault and 31st in long jump.
- Annika Gunderson is ranked seventh in Division III pole vault, second in the North Region and second in the WIAC.
- Jacob Balcome entered the week ranked 11th in Division III in heptathlon and 18th in long jump. He also ranks 10th in the north region in pole vault.
- Brielle Kuechle is ranked 26th in the nation in pentathlon and 30th in long jump.
