LA CROSSE, Wis. — The group of Falcon track & field student-athletes represented UW-River Falls on Friday afternoon at the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle Open.
Joe Guthrie headlined the Falcons' performance with a personal record long jump of 6.90 meters, tied for fifth-best all-time at UWRF on the outdoor record book.
On the men's side, Cooper Hennemann, Trever Jensen, and Joel Alexander also represented UWRF.
Hennemann set a PR in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.54. Jensen ran both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, clocking his second-fastest time of his career in the 200m at 21.93. Alexander notched his second best mark of the season in the triple jump, leaping 13.51 meters.
Annika Gunderson,
Kalli Jo Klocke, and
Abigail Biggs all competed in the women's pole vault, led by Gunderson's fourth place mark of 3.70 meters.
The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships are set to take place on May 23-25 in Geneva, Ohio.
