SAINT PETER, Minn. - The UW-River Falls women's tennis team competed at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships and the Gustie Midwest Invite Sept. 19-20 on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.
During Friday's Gustie Midwest Invite,
Sarah Baker in the No. 10 draw defeated opponents from Bethel and UW-La Crosse to advance to Saturday's semifinals. She then fell 8-1 versus Shayla Draper of Hamline.
In the ITA Doules Draw, the duo of
Sydney Wiener and
Sarah Baker won their first matchup of the day over Carthage, but fell in round two.
Brooke Lindeman &
Hailey Reuvers also advanced to round two with a win over St. Kate's.

- Round 3 - Sarah Baker falls 8-1 versus Shayla Draper of Hamline
- Round 1 - Hailey Reuvers wins 8-6 over Emily Yehle of Bethany Lutheran
- Round 2 - Hailey Reuvers falls 8-7(4) versus Keitlyn Narkis of Edgewood
ITA Regionals Doubles Draw
Up next, the Falcons host a triangular with St. Catherine University and UW-Superior next Saturday, Sept. 27 at Ramer Tennis Courts.
