The UW-River Falls men's soccer team traveled to Paterson Field and fell to Hamline by a score of 3-1 on Sept. 30, 2025. The Falcons are now 3-4-2 as they set their sights on WIAC opponents.
Hamline struck early with Augustune Feika's goal in the fifth minute, assisted by Johanso Camacho. Sylvester Doe added a second in the 33
rd off Lal Mawia's pass, giving the Pipers a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.Â
The Falcons responded quickly in the second half with
Daniel Pirillo scoring his first goal of the season in the 46
thminute, assisted by
Noah Meschke, his third of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Despite outshooting Hamline 8-2 after half and earning four corners, UWRF couldn't equalize. Feika netted his second goal of the evening in the 77
th minute to seal the win.
Pirillo led UWRF with three shots, all on goal, while Meschke added three shots and the assist. Goalkeeper
Josh Bates made three saves during the match against Hamline's six shots on goal.Â
The Falcons will return to Ramer Soccer Stadium this Saturday at 3 p.m. to open WIAC play against the UW-Platteville Pioneers.Â
