Shaun Gavin – Baseball (So., Oshkosh, Wis.)

Gavin and the Falcons turned in an outstanding 5-1 week, opening with a two-game sweep at UW-Stout before taking three of four at UW-Stevens Point. After contributing two innings of relief in a midweek win over the Blue Devils, Gavin delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, April 11, tossing a nine-inning complete game shutout against the Pointers. He allowed just two hits while striking out six, facing just two batters over the minimum. For the week, Gavin posted a 1.64 ERA with nine strikeouts across 11.0 innings pitched.

Samantha Hayek – Women's Lacrosse (Sr., Scandia, Minn.)

Hayek became UW-River Falls' all-time leading goal scorer with her 156th career goal in a win over UW-Stout, surpassing Emma Kohlbeck's previous record of 152 (2019–22). Earlier in the week, she also eclipsed the 100-career assist milestone against UW-Eau Claire. Hayek powered the Falcon offense during a 2-0 week in WIAC play, totaling 15 points on nine goals and six assists. She added 20 shots with 16 on goal, posting an .800 shot-on-goal percentage.
