UWRF Creative Design Earns College Sports Communicators National Honors

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — UW-River Falls earned national recognition at the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Creative & Digital Design Contest, with three Falcon Football graphics receiving honors announced at the CSC National Convention.

Created by UW-River Falls sports information staff, the graphics were recognized among entries from institutions across the country. The CSC College Division includes NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA, NJCAA and Canadian institutions.

UWRF's award-winning entries included:

"Football National Champions" Graphic

  • 5th Place — Best of Division III (Championship Graphics)
  • 14th Place — CSC College Division (Championship Graphics)

"Kaleb Blaha Gagliardi Trophy Winner" Graphic

  • 6th Place — Best of Division III (Major Awards)

"Vote Blaha" Graphic

  • 9th Place — Best of Division III (Special Projects)
College Sports Communicators is a national organization of more than 4,400 strategic, creative and digital communicators representing intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.

The recognition marks the third consecutive CSC Creative & Digital Design Awards cycle in which UW-River Falls has earned national honors. A men's basketball poster finished fifth nationally in 2022-23, while a photograph by former UWRF student photographer Carly Lynch placed fourth among the "Best of Division III" and 20th in the CSC College Division in 2024-25.
