Biography

Melissa Deardorff is back for her senior year as a Falcon goaltender. She is from Anchorage, Alaska, where she played for the Anchorage North Stars and was an all- conference player, and all- academic team member, each of her four years of high school. At River Falls, she has had three very solid years and has played in many games. Last year, as a junior, she played in 10 games and had a goals against average of 1.64, with a save percentage of .922. She was also named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.  She is the daughter of Daniel and Therese Deardorff and she is majoring in biology with a minor in coaching.
