Maddie McCollins is a native of Maple Grove, Minn., and played hockey for Wayzata High School.  In high school she was a two-time All-Conference Honorable Mention honoree, and two-time All-Conference member. As a senior, she scored 12 goals and  added 16 assists for 28 points. She is the daughter of Janelle and Patrick McCollins, she has one brother and one sister, and she is majoring in Elementary Education.
