Prior to UW-River Falls
Hansen came to UWRF from Prior Lake High School, where she was a semifinalist for the Ms. Hockey Goalie award which recognizes the top goaltender in Minnesota. With a career save percentage of .901 and a goals against average of 2.8, Hansen was a team captain and a First Team All-Conference honoree her senior year, and an Academic All-State award winner. She is the daughter of Shannon and Jeff Hanson and she has one brother, and is majoring in Exercise Science.
