Roger Worsley

Worsley joined the UWRF Volleyball coaching staff for the 2025 season.

A highly respected figure nationally, he brings a wealth of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. As a co-founder and co-director of the Pacific Rim Volleyball Academy (CA), Worsley has guided teams to premier national and regional successes. His squads claimed NCVA regional titles multiple times from the U14 onward, achieved open-level national championships at the U17 (2014) and U18 (2015) levels, and earned open-level Silver in the 2021 Junior National Championships.
 
At Albany High School, he led the Cougars to a flawless 51-0 league record over four seasons and steered them to the CIF State Championship match in 2011, earning East Bay Volleyball Coach of the Year honors.
 
He served as technical director for Stanford Men’s Volleyball, contributing to their 2010 NCAA Division I National Championship. Previously, Worsley assisted the University of Hawai‘i’s men’s and women’s teams during their NCAA Final Four Appearances. Collegiate head coaching experiences include compiling over 300 wins at the helm of Williams Wood College and Rochester Institute of Technology College. 
 
Worsley was selected via the USADSF to lead a national volleyball program, most notably the men’s national team, underscoring his high-performance coaching pedigree.
