St. Benedict scored two second half goals and got a 2-1 win over the Falcons on Sunday afternoon at Ramer Field.
The Falcons scored the only goal of the first half to take a 1-0 lead.
Eryn Lansverk (White Bear Lake, MN, White Bear Lake) scored her team-best eighth goal of the year in the 12th minute. Both teams had good scoring changes in the first 45 minutes. SB had a 6-5 advantage in shots in th first half.
The Blazers took control of the game for the first part of the second half. They tied the game in the 54th minute when Heather Beshears scored off a cross from Jenny Brattensborg. SB got the game winner in the 77th minute. After a Falcon foul, Missy Shelendich scored off the free kick. She put a well placed shot in the top left side of the Falcon goal.
The Falcons then took control of the game and press the play for the rest of the game. But the Blazer defense held the Falcons scoreless to get the win.
St. Benedict finished with a 19-13 advantage in shots in the game. UWRF finished with five corners and SB had three. The Blazers were called for 15 fouls and the Falcons eight.

Rachel Thompson (Cedar Falls, IA, Cedar Falls) finished with nine saves and SB's Jenna Glass had five.
Alyssa Manor (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater) led the Falcons with three shots and two were on goal.
UWRF, now 10-7 overall, will host St. Scholastica at 3 p.m., on Tuesday at Ramer Field.
