The Falcon men's basketball team lost a 63-59 game at the University of St. Thomas, Texas on Saturday afternoon in Houston, Texas.

The Falcons, now 4-2 overall, led 26-25 at halftime, but were outscored, 38-33, in the second half.
Shane Manor (Altoona, UW-Superior) led the Falcons with 23 points. He also had three rebounds and two assists. He was the only Falcon to score in double figures. Jontae Koonkaew (Apple Valley, MN, Apple Valley HS) added nine points while Aaron Anderson (Stillwater, MN, Stillwater HS) and Jake Voeltz (River Falls, River Falls HS) each scored six.

Voeltz led UWRF with 11 rebounds with nine coming on the defensive end.

Jeremy Lewis led UST with 16 points and Triston Grounds added 11.

The Falcons had a 30-27 advantage in rebounds.

The Falcons will play their first WIAC game of the season on Wednesday at UW-Superior. Action starts at 7 p.m.
