Falcon Women Draw Tie

Unbeaten streak extends to 20

Alyssa Black started the scores for the Falcons. Her goal at 12:45 was her third goal of the season. Katie Flanagan assisted on the goal. Superior tied things up with a goal seconds later at 12:56.  UWS added another goal at 14:45 to give them a 2-1 lead leading to the first intermission

Down 2-1, Kayleigh Bell evened the score at 2-2 with her sixth goal of the season, unassisted, at 5:39. With seconds remaining in the final frame, Superior tallied their third goal of the game to take a 3-2 lead into the second intermission.

The game-tying-goal that gave the Falcons' life came off the stick of Lauren Conrad. Her fifth goal of the season came off a Brook Story helper to tie the game at 3-3.

Nothing was resolved in the final five minutes of overtime.

Between the pipes, Ashley Kuechle got the decision and is now 3-0-2 on the season.

The Falcons outshot Superior 38 to 27 on the afternoon. The Falcons converted on 1 of 6 power plays while Superior went 1 for 2. Superior drew seven penalties while UWRF drew only 3.

Up next, the Falcons will travel to St. Thomas for a non-conference match against the Tommies. Puck is set to drop at 7 pm.
