Box Score The UW-River Falls women's soccer team took a tough 0-4 loss this evening to Hamline University. Coming into tonight UWRF had shut out its previous two opponents by scores of 6-0 and 3-0.
The Falcons were just about even in shots in the game with 15 compared to Hamline's 16 shots, but strong play from goalie Amy Ramras who recorded nine saves was the difference maker in the game. UWRF played two goalies in the game. Rebecca Kramer started the game and played the first half.
Erica Cimochowski played the second half and recorded five saves. Both UWRF goalies allowed two goals. Four different Hamline players all scored a goal in the game. Kramer took the loss and is now 1-1 on the season.
Alex Swatloski had nine total shots in the game and four on goal. She leads the Falcons in both categories this season with 27 total shots and 14 on goal.
Anna Kouba who is second in both had three shots on goal.
UWRF falls to 2-3 on the season after the loss. They will play again this Saturday at Augsburg College with the game set to start at 7 p.m. They will than kick off WIAC play a week later at home against UW-Whitewater.
