The UW-River Falls Falcons (3-5) fell to the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds (4-4) struggling to get anything going offensively.
UWRF only managed 11 first half points but held UWEC in check most of the half until the Blugolds went on a run and ended up leading 27-11 going into halftime.

Richell Mehus all hit three points in the second half to spark the UWRF offense that scored 25 points in the second half but it was not enough to climb back into the game. Mehus finished with nine points in the game and had a team high five rebounds.
Taylor Karge was able to get it going in the post in the second half scoring nine points of her own while grabbing four rebounds.
Kate Theisen scored six points while
Ali Clark came off the bench and grabbed five rebounds. UWRF had 12 steals in the game led by Mehus with five while Jessie Van Wye had four.
UWRF will look to get their first WIAC win when they head to UW-La Crosse Wednesday with tip off set for 7 p.m.
