Dani Sibley's 4th career hat trick led the UW-River Falls women's hockey team past St. Olaf by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday night at Hunt arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons got off to a quick start at the 3:55 mark of the period when Victoria Holman found the back of the net for her first goal of the season. She was assisted on the goal by Payton Rudiger and Lydia Wagner.
- Amy Auran's goal less than 5 minutes later would push the Falcons lead to 2.
- The first period ended with the Falcons leading 2-0.  The Falcons dominated the first period and out shot the Oles 22-1.
- The second period began with the two teams exchanging power play opportunities but neither could take advantage of the power play until Dani Sibley scored her first goal of the night on a power play with only 1:20 left in the second period.
- The second period ended with the Falcons up 3-0.
- The Falcons began the third period on the penalty kill and goaltender Angie Hall came up with a couple of huge saves to keep the Falcons up 3.
- 2:13 seconds into the third period Dani Sibley scored her second goal of the game, this time a short handed goal, to put the Falcons up 4-0. She was assisted on the goal by Carly Moran.
- St. Olaf would answer with a power play goal Drue Engleman only 11 seconds after going down 4-0 to cut the lead to 4-1.Â
- The Falcons would need just over 3 minutes to push their lead back to 4 goals. Â Payton Rudiger scored an even strength goal, her first of the season. She was assisted on the goal by Izzy Brosseau and Dani Sibley.
- Dani Sibley would complete her hat trick at the 11:35 mark of the period on the power play. Â She was assisted on the goal by Carly Moran and Erica Schramel. Sibley's goal put the Falcons up 6-1.
- The Oles would add a late goal to make the final score 6-2.
- Angie Hall got the win for the Falcons, making 11 saves on the night and pushing her record to 5-1 on the season.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Oles fall to 2-6 on the season.
- Mae Morris stopped 29 of 35 shots and Sam Klemann stopped all 6 shots she faced.
