Duluth, MN -(uwrfsports.com)- The UW-River Falls women's hockey team traveled to Duluth, Minnesota to take on the St. Scholastica Saints on Saturday, December 3
rd. The Falcons beat the Saints 6-0 to end their weekend 2-0.
Dani Sibley had her second hat trick of the weekend and her third of the season.
Angie Hall recored 11 saves for the Falcons and earned second consecutive shut out.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kayla Oberding received a penalty for holding at 7:05 to put the Falcons on a penalty kill.
- At 7:45 in the first period, the Falcons scored a shorthanded goal to make the score 1-0. Dani Kocina scored the goal. The goal was unassisted.
- Mac Johnson for the Saints received a penalty at 10:34 for slashing to put the Falcons on the power play.
- The Saints received another penalty at 11:58 for hooking. The penalty came from Brandi Malwitz and put the Falcons on a 5-3 scoring advantage.
- The Falcons were able to score on the power play to make the score 2-0. Dani Sibley scored her first goal of the night. Hailey Herdine and Carly Moran assisted the goal.
- The third goal for the Falcons came from Hailey Nielsen at 16:21 in the first period. The goal was assisted by Dani Sibley and Carly Moran.
- At 17:51 in the first period, Kayla Oberding received her second penalty for hooking. The Falcons were able to fend off the Saints to complete the first period.
- Kayla Oberding received another penalty for hooking at 5:53 in the second period to put the Falcons on penalty kill.
- Shortly after, the Saints received a penalty for holding at 9:33. Brandi Malwitz had the penalty, which was her second of the game. The Falcons were unable to score on the power play.
- At 13:19 in the second period, Victoria Holman received a penalty for hooking.
- Kathryn Larson scored a goal at 17:45 to make the score 4-0. Erica Schramel and Lydia Wagner assisted the goal.
- At the end of the second period, Tessa Lowry for the Saints received a penalty for sticking.
- The Falcons started the third period on power play and were able to score within 35 seconds. Dani Sibley scored her second goal of the night to put the Falcons up 5-0. Hailey Nielsen and Hailey Herdine assisted the goal.
- At 4:49 in the third period, Payton Rudiger received a penalty for tripping. The Saints were unable to score on the power play.Â
- Kaleigh Hamann received a penalty at 8:49 for checking.
- Dani Sibley scored her third goal of the night at 14:32 in the third period to make the final score 6-0. Erica Schramel assisted the goal.
- At the end of the third period, Carina Randazzo received a penalty for interference.

THE OPPOSITION
- Lindsay Hartfiel was the goaltender for the Saints for the entire 60 minutes. She had a total of 32 saves and allowed 6 goals.
