Box Score RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team picked up a homecoming victory as they defeated UM-Morris 2-1 Saturday evening at Smith Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons came out strong offensively having 24 shots in the first half and it was not until midway through the half that the Cougars could even get on their offensive side.
- Carrie Anderson headed in the first goal of the match at 34:57 off a corner kick from Kenzie Weisman.
- Molly Hancuh tied the game up in the second half at 73:45 from a pass by Linnea Martini.
- With minutes left in the game Lindsey Jack pushed one through on a scramble in front of the goal to give the Falcons the 2-1 win.
- The Falcons out shot the Cougars 48-3. Abby Soderholm collected 15 herself with seven of them being on goal. Carrie Anderson and Kayla Windingstad followed with eight shots each.
THE OPPOSITION
- Cougar keeper had a game collecting 18 saves and being the backbone of the Cougar defense.
- Molly Hancuh had two of the three Cougar shots and was the only player to score a goal.

The Falcons head to St. Scholastica to take on the Saints September 28
