  • The Falcons grew their lead to the largest of the game with the first basket of the second half to lead by 11, but the Pioneers continued to hang around, down single digits for the rest of the third quarter, and cutting the lead to just three heading into the fourth quarter.
  • Momentum on their side, UW-Platteville scored the first seven points of the first quarter, and their lead was up to four points.
  • With the lead down to just one with 6:27 to go, UW-Platteville scored six quick points with an and-one and a three pointer to lead by seven with 5:39 to go.
  • UWRF came within one point three more times in the final minutes, but could not muster enough offense to take back the lead before the final buzzer.
