MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team traveled to Augsburg College for a midweek nonconference matchup against the Auggies. The Falcons out shot the Auggies 20-15 but were not able to find the back of the net leading to a 0-3 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST AUGSBURG
- Abby Soderholm did not waste any time on the offense getting the first shot of the game at 00:36.
- The Falcons continued to put pressure on the Auggie defense getting five shots on goal but they could not put enough on it to get past the keeper.
- The Auggies would fight back with four of their own shots before they were able to rebound one in off a cross at 29:53.
- Four more shots would come from the Falcons but it was Augsburg again to find the back of the net first at 43:53.
- At 51:14 the Auggies would get their last goal of the match on a blast from 15 yards out by Ashley St. Aubin.
- The Falcons had ten shots in each half and twelve total were on goal.
- Soderholm led the team offensively with eight shots, four on goal.
- Amanda LaDue took the loss for the Falcons giving up three goals in ninety minutes of play. She did have six saves.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Auggies had 15 shots total in the match.
- Jessy Wiskofske scored two of the three Auggie goals.
- Keeper Marissa Guillou got the win and had 12 saves in ninety minutes of play.
