RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls football team finished their season at home with a tough loss to UW-Lacrosse 56-7. The Falcons outrushed the Eagles 192-114 but were not able to shut down the passing offense that had 470 yards on the day for six touchdowns.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles scored a touchdown on their first drive when quarterback Drew David made a complete pass to Labellarte for 34 yards.
- The Falcons answered back with a 50 yard kick return by Janari Glover.
- Michael Diggins started the drive with a three yard rush followed by an eight yard run that would give the Falcons a first down before quarterback Ben Beckman lost control of the ball and the Eagles would take possession of the fumble.
- The Eagles started a 57 yard drive at 7:50 that would get them within 13 yards but kicker Michael Pako missed his field goal attempt.
- The Falcons would start their drive at 5:06 with a 42 yard pass to Trenton Monson to get the Falcons on the UWL45. The drive would finish with 66 yards and the Falcons would be stranded on the UWL 21.
- The Eagles responded on their next drive with a 75 yard pass that would result in an Eagle touchdown.
- The Eagles defense kept the Falcons to only 15 yards on the following drive before they would score again at 8:03 to bring the score to 21-0.
- On his second play of the Falcons drive, Ben Beckman's pass was intercepted by Luke Winnen and was ran for 22 yards for another Eagle touchdown.
